The end of Sakinobashi

Some people might have find this blog thanks to the scanlation done on Tinkle’s series, Tsukiyo no Fromage, or Nusunde Lilith. Other might have encountered us for some doujinshi. I’m Kachou Fuugetsu, just another nick I used for this team. Sakinobashi was really just made of fan.

Just for the history, we started when I once told Ippiki Ookami “I wonder what is happening in Gothic Lolita Dagguereotype”. As it was quite, disturbing, she translated it, and then latter I wanted to take part in the workflow hence the creation of the team. However we didn’t want the burden of having people requesting us to work on some project; we wanted our own pace, thus the name Sakinobashi, Japanese for “procrastination” ( or something like that xD ).

But now Ippiki Ookami is leaving the scene, so it’s the end of our team. I know, I could search for a new translator, but as we are both founder I don’t want to use this name again without her. It’s the end of Sakinobashi, but I will remain.

  1. Such a sad tone in this entry. :\ A quote by Emerson:

“For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else.”

    Cheers

Well, my friend disappeared I don’t know where, that’s what make me the saddest.

  2. @Merun ;_; I’m sorry to hear. Hope they aren’t lost, but hopefully they will return.

Thank you for your work. Speaking of Fromage, do you know what happened to Tinkle?

The bottom of this page says something but I can’t translate it.

I don’t know, but thanks for forwarding the news. Maybe I will get some information over Twitter. As far as I can tell, Bell is sick, but that’s based on Google Translate. Manga should be on hiatus.

Speaking of which, what happened to the old http://tengaikodoku.net/blog/, do you know? Its a shame because a lot of those manga chapters might become hard to find in the future and drop of the internet…Personally I loved your little busters series translation the best.
