Contemplating from afar

I have finally finished the game, between all my activities. In short, it’s  beautiful and sad at the same time, which I guess is the type of game Minori is good at. The main theme is the end, end of  one’s life, end of the world, and how one face it. The game depicted this quite well, and what I liked particularly is the background, as it’s really detailed to the point of looking real, but still adequate for the character. It shows the world as beautiful it can be, but also conveys the atmosphere. I must warn that the rest of the post is just things I noticed, and is a spoilerish.

I usually don’t play visual novel, and I didn’t plan to do so for eden*. In the beginning I was just going to extract the CG, but since it requires an install before… I ended up trying a little bit of the game. I don’t speak japanese, but I can understand little bits in oral, and I was quite intrigued by the story. minori have great story in their game, so… here I’m playing one of these game. I didn’t do this for years, so I had to get again all the tool needed to have a better understanding of the plot. So far I like it.

[update]: Contrary to the CG, the movies are in 768×468…. weird resolution.

Cheese!

Around the end of each month, there are releases of eroge. Supreme Candy is the last eroge by Makura who also did H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ and √After and Another. This time, the game was illustrated by Inugami Kira, Shin Mori, karory and Korie Riko. Maybe I missed Sca-ji and Motoyone who were the 2 mains artist of their previous game.
